Surrounded by a breathtakingly beautiful and untouched landscape in the heart of Obersaxen you will find the Alpenlodge Val Gronda.

At the sunny plateau of Obersaxen at an altitude of 1000 to 2800 meters you are greeted by a family-friendly ambience. An idyllic nature and the fascination of sun, snow and a mood that only mountains can convey.

Born in the year of 1976 as “Tschappinahüs” and to this day known to many as “Sporthotel Val Gronda”. In 2014 our hotel took a self-determined “timeout”. It took some years to revitalize our house with a new concept and extensive renovation. Since 2020 we are reopend as the “Alpenlodge Val Gronda”, shining in a new bright light, with many new features to explore.
